SAILAU premiered in a sold out cinema at Nordic Adventure Film Festival on the 1st December 2023 in Copenhagen.

SAILAU was awarded Best Nordic Film 2023 by the judges and an extra screening was held the day after.
SAILAU has been awarded the Grand Prize at the International Maritime Film Festival 2023.

The festival will be running in Bucksport Maine, US. 29 Sep. to 1 Oct. 2023.
SAILAU want’s to redefine adventure by telling a positive story from the second largest island in the world: New Guinea.
According to the audience at the world premiere at the Doc Edge International Film Festival in New Zealand, SAILAU succeeded.
SAILAU will have its world premier at the Doc Edge International Film Festival in June 2023.
Director Thor F. Jensen will be hosting a Q&A following the screenings.
